Montgomery South RV Park & Cabins

we have stopped here twice on our way to the Gulf Coast from the Atlanta area. we like to get out of Atlanta early afternoon and stop so we can arrive on the coast early :) perfect stopping place, right off the highway and a Flying J at the same exit so get that Good Sam fuel discount!!! staff very friendly and grounds are clean. Over the air tv channel reception excellent!!

Jim and the staff at Montgomery South RV Park are phenomenal. The park is very convenient and very clean. We would highly recommend this facility when you are in the area. Thanks A Bunch Jim!!!

Wow so quiet! Very friendly staff/owners they even made a point of saying goodbye which no one has ever done before. Nice touch. :) Very clean park with high water pressure. Good spacing between rv sights.

Made a quick over night stop, the staff were very friendly. I wanted to have a camp fire but they hadn’t stocked up on wood yet and I didn’t want to un hook trailer. The owner called her husband who was out and he stopped and picked us up some firewood. Site was perfectly level, very nice restroom and shower. Great location when passing through. Only down side was the trains horns we heard seemed like all night.

We stayed at this cozy RV park that was just off the interstate. Friendly staff and level RV areas with only pull thru sites. There was train sounds; but the owners can not control the sounds! The park was quiet when we were there and WiFi was available.

I was coming from Beaumont, TX (where I had overnighted at their Walmart with permission) heading to Savannah, GA on 10/29/2020. Tried contacting the Walmart in Greenville, south of here, but no answer. There is also the Butler County Rest Stop between here and Greenville. I called the Alabama DOT and asked about overnight parking. They said not authorized but trucks probably do it anyway. Since it is getting into 40’s at night I decided to call here. Got an overnight full hook-up. Exceptionally nice owners, very clean and well maintained and all sites are pull-through so no backing up headaches after 10 hour drive (my longest single day drive after being on road 50 days).

This was a quick overnight stop for us. Everything was very well maintained and the staff was super friendly on the phone. We arrived late so they left a map and site number on the door to office with a note telling us to call them if there was a problem. It’s a cute little place with very flat spots ( mostly pull throughs) and right by the highway and a large gas station which was good for us as we wanted to stay close to keep moving the next day. The cabins on location were adorable but we didn’t look inside. We would definitely stay here again.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Easy in and out off of I -65. Level sites, easy off and on I 65. Friendly office staff. We had quite a bit of rain while we were here and our site had great drainage. No puddles or standing water. WIFI for checking emails. Great over the air TV channels. TMobile had 5 G. Full hook- up. Electrical power did not have any power drops when park was full.

Sewer connection is almost level with the trailer outlet making it hard to dump. No fenced in dog park. The trailer next to us will just open their door and dump out their garbage bags and leave them there for days even though they came and went in their car (the dumpster is right by the entrance/exit to the park).

Very nice owners, clean facilities, level pull through sites. Will definitely stay here again on our way through the area

My family and I stopped here overnight, on our way down to Florida. It is right off the highway, which was very nice. The sites are clean and very well maintained. Minimal highway noice. The staff are the definition of “good country folk”. They were very polite and friendly! There is a drive through safari 5 minutes down the road, which was a nice experience if you have little ones. We would definitely stop here again!
