“Point of Interest in hominy, OK”
These sculptures, designed by local artist Cha' Tullis, stand atop a hill on the west side of Hominy. They stand 18-20 feet tall, are made of sheet iron and have moving parts (feathers that blow in the wind). The silhouettes of Indians and their horses, which are designed to view at a distance, are very realistic and an awesome sight to townsfolk and tourists alike. The sculptures are illuminated at night for an amazing view of the silhouettes.
A unique sight from a distance, especially at night. The sculptures are illuminated and shows an amazing array of silhouettes. For those who are passing by this attraction, that's quite everything that you could get; a view of shadows from afar. A quirky roadside entertainment.
This is a pretty awesome sight, especially at sundown. I haven't seen them at night. Osage County has some beautiful country.
Nice to stop and rake a picture.
