“amazingly beautiful man-made waterfall!”
Holley Canal Falls is a 35 ft classic cascade over red Medina Sandstone and surrounded on each side by lush wooded landscape. The waste weir of the Erie Canal is about a 5-10 ft drop from a pipe into the waterway that feeds the falls.
This place is beautiful. The area is clean and the ambiance is so relaxing. Great views. Fresh air. Plus you can have picnic at the lake. There were tables and chairs (as seen in the photo) which you can have picnic while your feet is dipping at the fresh clean water from the falls. It was a really nice experience and I hope I can visit this place again.
Very quaint little place to picnic, fish or just have some quiet time. Beautiful water fall. Well maintained park and pavilion.
Beautiful. Nice clean park, not busy, but not deserted. The falls are beautiful and the sound... This is my third visit and every time I am calmed and enchanted by the surroundings. Lovely.
