We visited Windmill Island Gardens during Tulip Time. The tulips were absolutely beautiful. Go first thing in the morning!! There was a waiting line outside to the street waiting to get in when we left at 11 am. Note: during Tulip Time their even hours are different than posted hours. Check their website directly.

I enjoyed the windmill tour, which takes you through the entire process from grain to flour. The windmill still operates and high-quality flour is available for sale.

Cute little garden. Wish we would have bought the package with Nelis' village to save a few bucks. Windmill was beautiful and our daughter really enjoyed the carousel.
