Oakmont National Pub

The Oakmont Pub is a local Havertown restaurant and pub, located outside Philadelphia, PA.   We have been serving our local community for over a decade providing our guests real authentic pub fare in the relaxed unique and inviting environment.  The Oakmont is a family owned and operated establishment that has an interesting history in Haverford Township. The original building dates back to the 1920′s when a bank stood on the very grounds.  Some time after the Great Depression era the bank closed it’s doors and one business after another occupied the space. In the 1950′s the land and title was take over by a former tavern (The Iron Gate) which held it’s own customer base for some thirty years.  In 1999 the Oakmont National Pub was carved out of a then partnership that has now been established as an independent family operated Tavern.  The current property is true to it’s original purpose and the bank features that were covered over for years have been refurbished and augmented into our new logo. We specialize in exceptional pub fare and unique and interesting craft beer selections. We clean our lines regularly and have been known to have the coldest, cleanest tasting draft beers in the area. We often rotate our draft lines for different seasonal ales and keep a steady flow of local and international craft beers in rotation for our discerning local clientele. Although our original menu has not gone through many changes our daily house specials offer our guests a truly eclectic dinning experience not often offered by your typical local pub and tavern. Furthermore, our outside beer garden offers our crowd a compelling atmosphere that has been recognized as a premier outside dinning experience.
