Crawford Notch General Store & Campground

Made a last-minute reservation for a yurt, campground was very nicely appointed with a fully-stocked general store, ample restrooms and nice hot showers. Bring quarters! Yurt was clean and comfortable, campsite was a nice size with a huge firepit. I would definitely like to come back with another family and rent a couple of cabins, bring the kids' bikes, and stay for a week, taking day trips to see the sights. There were many campsites but they were well situated with lots of trees and foliage around them. We didn't have time to fully check out the water but we definitely want to come back soon. Very convenient and affordable, and the owners are great!

Visited Aug of 2022. We booked for 3 nights, but only stayed for 1. Campground is set up nicely for tent campers, but the hookup sites for RVs are less than ideal. RV sites were level and good size, but unfortunately, they are right by the highway and very noisy.

There is NO cell or wifi coverage at all! If you are looking for a backwoods experience completely off the grid, this would work. Just be ready for some highway noise if you're in one of the hookup sites.

If we're back in this area, we will look for another campground.

Nice campground, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. However, there are no 50 amp outlets; only 30 amp, 120 volts.
