“historical house built in 1800's”
A museum that includes the original house built by James G. Grice, who emigrated to the United States in the 1860's. Also included is a furnished school and a huge barn housing implements used by settlers from 1850. The House has a kitchen, parlor, and bedroom as it would have been plus a marine room, a sewing room, a military room, and an industrial room and picture room. Museum hours from Memorial Day to Labor Day are Tuesday-Friday, 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
