Welcome from your innkeepers Kathleen and Rick. The Gathering Inn is a vital, interesting place, offering affordable private and family rooms, as well as longer-term room rentals. We provide comfortable beds in a quiet, safe and friendly environment. Nestled in the mountains of the beautiful Green Mountain National Forest in Hancock, Vermont, we're just 6 miles from the Long Trail, 8 miles from the Middlebury Snow Bowl, 17 miles from Yestermorrow Design/Build School, 20 miles from Sugarbush and 25 miles from Killington ski centers. We offer free transportation from/to Middlebury Gap for Long Trail hikers and skiers; please call ahead to arrange pickup. You may use our fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals, or eat out at one of several local eateries.
