Chef Michel and Miss Isabel created Michabelle Inn as a romantic country getaway in 1998. Their daughter Sandra Marcais Bradley and her family now proudly continue the traditions set up by Chef Michel and Miss Isabel. The restaurant and catering menus of Chef Michel Marcais display his wonderful culinary talents developed through his years of training and travel around the world. He has held positions in his native France along the French Riviera, Switzerland, Portugal, Mexico, Costa Rica, and of course the United States. Some of the famous establishments he has served include the Ritz in Lisbon, Portugal, the Fairmont in Atlanta, Georgia, Pebble Beach Country Club as a Chef to Hollywood stars, and the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans, Louisiana. Michel has cooked for three presidents (Ford, Reagan, and Bush). During his tenure at the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans, he earned the title of Louisiana Chef of the Year.
