“victorian historical reenactors”
Thank you for visiting our site. If you have any questions or would like invite us out to visit your town, click here.We are a nonprofit 501 (C) 3 Old West & Victorian historical reenactment group. Our primary mission is the preservation of Oklahoma's early history from the territorial days to statehood through living history exhibits and performances. Our membership is made up of people from all over Oklahoma and other neighboring states that have a passion for the old west. Our group was first formed in August of 1993 and has steadily grown in size and reputation since that time. Our base camp is in Guthrie, Oklahoma; which was home to Oklahoma's First State Capitol. Being a sociable group, we are known to travel around the great state of Oklahoma presenting the history of the Indian Territory. So if'n we were out of town when ya'll stopped by....we apologize all the way down to soles of our boots...but we was just out kickin' up some fun in at a local county or town festival. But honestly and truly you can usually catch us performing -- Saturdays throughout the year in right there Guthrie, OK. Performances are between 1 and 5 at the top of each hour in front of the historical Blue Belle Saloon & State Capitol Historical Museum. (corner of 2nd & Harrison)Some of the places we've been spotted at include: the Chisholm Trail festival in Yukon, Ingalls' Battle in Ingalls, OK, Age of the Gunfighter at Cowtown in Wichita Kansas, Read Ranch near Chandler, Edmond's 4th of July Parade, many festival celebrations in towns such as McCloud, Shawnee, Clinton, Choctaw, Tecumseh, Shidler, and Pond Creek just to name a few of the wonderful townspeople we have got to meet around Oklahoma. If you are considering joining up with us....we will soon have an area on line that will explain all the in's and out's that would let you join up with our wild herd of owlhoots and lawdogs.
