Very peaceful. Like camping in a meadow. Right next to Russian River. A little pricey but we loved it.

A very nice and friendly camping experience. We stayed two non-consecutive nights. The camp hosts are great, communications are great. We had two level, beautiful spots. It is like camping in a meadow on the edge of a redwood foest. They do not have sewer or a dump staion. You can access the river, but the closest beach is a 15 minute walk to the other side of the river. No Verizon cell service. Wi-fi is provided and best near the office. Showers show some deferred maintenance. It made for a very nice overnight stay, but would be great for a week exploring the river and wineries (if you can manage the no-dump issue). We would gladly stay again.

Very helpful staff. Level site (#22) among beautiful trees. Clean, well cared for grounds. Electric and water, no sewer or dump. Right in the heart of the California Sonoma wine country, and close to the Pacific Ocean. Definitely recommend this park. We certainly will return!
