“within the historic Delta town of Greenwood”
The Alluvian Hotel is a cosmopolitan boutique hotel in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. The Mississippi Delta. The South’s South. This fertile land has been the muse of the great Southern writers. It is a mythic place with a powerful hold over locals and visitors alike. Here, within the historic Delta town of Greenwood, Mississippi is where you’ll find The Alluvian. The Alluvian boasts 45 luxurious rooms and five spacious suites. All spaces incorporate custom designed furnishings and accessories, plush bed and bath linens and an award winning art collection by Mississippi artists.
The hotel sits on Howard Street in Downtown, right across the street from the Viking Retail Store and Cooking School. It’s also in the center of the shops and restaurants, and is walking distance to the Keesler Bridge and Yazoo River Trail.
The Alluvian Spa is reportedly amazing, but it was fully booked when I visited so be sure to make your reservation early.
