Ambleside Fine Arts was founded in Manchester, England in 1982. Throughout its twelve years in the UK, ten years in Grosse Pointe, MI and eleven years in Greensboro, NC, Ambleside Gallery has maintained a reputation for the high artistic standard of its offerings and its commitment to the community it serves.Ambleside Gallery is privileged to represent more than thirty extraordinary painters, sculptors and, on occasion, photographers from the US, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, China and Japan. China's most revered and renowned watercolorist, Guan Weixing, is exclusively represented by Ambleside Gallery in the United States. Exhibitions, workshops, lectures, seminars and a wide variety of cultural performances are presented in the gallery on a regular basis. The Gallery space is also made available to individuals and organizations for numerous types of events.
