“next to Jumpoff Joe Creek”
In an ideal natural setting next to Jumpoff Joe Creek, Grants Pass KOA is also just 15 minutes from the Rogue River, a National Wild and Scenic River. Book a tour with Hellgate Jetboat Excursions or go whitewater rafting, hiking and fishing. Back at KOA, you'll find 46 wooded, spacious RV Sites and Tent Sites - or make yourself at home in a cozy creekside Cabin. With three seasonal swimming holes (check out the waterfalls!), it's easy to cool off after a busy day. Relax and enjoy the abundant wildlife that includes deer and turkeys. Pets are loved and have their own safe, fenced areas. Be sure to meet the resident goats, Vinny and Frankie, during your stay. Visit the fully stocked general store for all your grocery needs. Max pull thru: 70 feet.
I love this place the crawdads were fun to chase around. There's turtles and steelhead fun things to do in this location.
Great KOA and perfect camp for visiting the Rogue River/Grants Pass area! Friendly staff and well stocked store! The swimming hole and waterfall was fun for the whole family! We would definitely stay again! Campsite #1 is the best in my opinion. We had it 6/19-22/2017. It's right across from waterfall trail, close to restrooms/showers, and has a second private pad ib the trees just above the site.
Nice KOA with really nice/helpful staff. Very nice setting with some unique sites - deck sites, garden sites. Best TeePee sites I ever seen at a KOA.
There is no cable; free wifi can be difficult to connect and very slow if you do. Verizon signal strength is poor as well. Satellite may be difficult, if not impossible due to trees, hills. No swimming pool but a really nice waterfall and swimming hole. Despite the lack of TV, Satellite, wifi, I'd definitely stay here again.
