Fantastic gardens and fine art..nice walk after fives in a car
The Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park is a 158-acre botanical garden and sculpture park that features over 500 sculptures by famous artists like Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, and Claes Oldenburg. The gardens are open year-round, and the sculpture park is open from May to September.
Stroll through the gardens, admire the stunning floral displays, or explore the sculpture park and see some of the world’s most famous sculptures. There is also a children’s garden, a conservatory, and a café on-site, so you might want to spend a few hours here when you visit Grand Rapids.
We think a visit here is one of the best things to do in Grand Rapids!
This is one of the best combination of art and plants. Children will love it. There is something for everyone and well laid out. The cafe food is outstanding!
