Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on August 07, 2021A standard RV park. We stayed here because the heat drove us from Utah and to hookups. Clean laundry (2.00/load .25/7 min dryer) and restrooms. Small but maintained pool and free mini golf.
The dog run area was tiny. Sites were well maintained and clean with fire pits. The bonus for us was they let us wash our rig for a 7.00 city water charge, a deal!
We'd stay here again for the convienence and if we needed hookups. Easy in/out. Strong verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.

A nice infrastructure stop to allow us to catch up on laundry, restocking and getting a couple of repairs done to the RV.
We were a little anxious about potential noise from kids, but it wasn't an issue. The kids are corralled at the pool and nightly movies near the club house. So it was nice and quiet.
Laundry facilities nicely maintained and did a good job, reasonably priced.
The park allows you to wash your rig and car for a small fee. Beats feeding the endless quarters into the car wash!
Park wifi was ok. Connection to Verizon and TMobile were great.
Edgecreek Brewing was a worthwhile stop! Also, this campground is adjacent to the fairgrounds. So might want to make sure there are not monster trick rallies taking place when you visit.

This was our third time staying at the Grand Junction KOA. The people that manage this place are some of the nicest we've ever met. There is goofy golf, movies, a pool, playground, and a game room. The game room was a little lacking. Every time we've stayed here it has been very quiet. The only drawback is that this KOA is in a rather run-down part of time, but it is a quick drive to downtown.

We really just needed a place to go for a night where we could hook up, shower and dump after some time in non hook up camping. It was fine. A typical KOA.

Super friendly staff and very clean KOA. If you need to be near downtown Grand Junction, this is a good place to stay. They have a putt putt golf. They were always cleaning and maintaining, while we were there. The only issues we had were the fire pits were pretty close to our camper and the place is between Hwy 50 and another busy street, so you might need earplugs or drink a bunch, to sleep well.

We were here for just a week as we needed to be close to an airport. This is a smaller KOA but well kept, pool (didn't use) and seems like a lot to do for kids. The office folks are super nice and were able to forward our mail to our next destination (as we forgot to pick it up before we left). They have a pet run, but it's basically a fenced in dirt pit. You can walk your dogs outside the park (easy to do as there's a gate that leads outside right by the pet run).
If you're in Grand Junction, go check out the Colorado National Monument- it's a drive thru park (although there are hiking trails if you're interested). It's a basic KOA and a good spot for a stop if driving thru this area. Rated it as OK as it's not fantastic, but good for a weeks stay. Cell signal was solid the entire time.

We stopped here for one night as we made our way from AZ to CO. It’s mid-July and very hot in many areas, so we didn’t feel like boondocking.
I called ahead to make a reservation and the lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful! They only had three spots left (two pull-thru and one back-in) so I would recommend calling to make sure they have room. It is a smaller KOA and we booked mid-summer, so we were expecting a full campground.
Check in was was great! Very helpful staff and they give you all the info you could possibly need. They have a small pool that closes at dusk, rentable bikes for kids, and a tiny, dirt dog run. Our site was a back-in and, once we figured out how much room we had, was perfect for us. It was small and a little cramped, but it had a privacy fence, small patch of grass for the dog, a picnic table and a fire ring. We were there for the hook ups, especially so we could run the AC, but the 51 tv channels were a nice plus! There are some bigger sites with nicer patios and small cabins and you can definitely wave to your neighbor from all of them, but we never felt overwhelmed and everyone was pretty respectful.
The were only a couple negatives. The entrance to the KOA is small and a tight turn. You’re turning off of Hwy 50 with cars rushing by and behind you and it can be a little hectic. You’re also right next to the fair grounds, so I imagine the noises are louder and spaces seem even smaller during fair time. The road noise was also a negative, but we had our AC blasting and didn’t hear it too often.
Overall, it was a cute campground with friendly staff and we would stay here again.

Level gravel sites, nice wide roadways made backing in simple. Paver patio area and a small patch of grass. Convenient for a stop over. Highway noise, but not bad in the rig.

Typical KOA (in my experience) being clean, well maintained, and fairly level. Lots of gravel and good Verizon and AT&T signals. Friendly staff. We're being chased by C19 lock downs so we're not seeing much of the campground or area.

We just used this as a stop over site but it was a great stay. Staff was so friendly and helpful (we are newbies to RV life and the owner called her dad to help us trouble shoot a water issue).
Sites are clean and well maintained.
Movie night outside was great for the kids, Park is fun, pool looked nice and there was even a little put put golf area.
My favorite thing was the gate out the back to Old Spanish Trail. I walked through the residential neighborhood to the trail and wow. It was beautiful!! Highlight of my stay.
