“A tribute to stargazing cultures”
After meandering through a serene pathway filled with bridges, streams and more, we climb the 50-foot Star Tower to see for miles. Providing beautiful views both day and night, the tower is a tribute to many stargazing cultures. It was designed as a spiral configuration, resembling the shape of the Milky Way constellation, topped off with a rusted steel sail. It has been said that sunset is the best time to visit
Closed due to construction... reopens 04-2019
It is further down Estrella Parkway than the map show. It's a bit after you cross the river.
Nice short walk up, nice view from the top and a man made waterfall.
The entire area surrounding is very nice and peaceful, the star tower was very easy to find, the view from the top was beautiful and not much of a hike either.
It was ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way to see this.
This is now open but signs are posted saying "Private Park Residence Only"
Interesting, but be careful of map link. Roadtripper took us to post office.
We found this place by accident. It was a nice little walk from the parking lot to this structure crossing over bridges. There was a nice little picnic area too.
Closed for few months
Star Tower is officially closed through April 2019. The area is under construction for new homes and repairs.
Difficult to find via GPS and only accessible from one direction due to the median, but so worth seeing. It closes annoyingly early considering it's designed to be viewed at night, but we managed to climb and do some stargazing before we got shooed out.
