“inspiring & uplifting children with love”
I Wanna Have Fun, Carter's Place was first envisioned to be a center to help with obesity, health risks caused by obesity, and violence issues that affect our children, including the risk of gang activity and involvement, is the result of what is now a Christian Center on N. William Street to help children and youth with things like obesity and inactivity and the effects that these negatives have can have upon our children, incorporated and opened by a Registered Nurse who worked ICU and the Pediatric Department for many years, and her family & staff. After additional consideration, the staff decided to make it a Christian Fun Center first and foremost, for everyone, and to add on some specials programs later, which is what they will be doing. They also want to work with others in the communities who have the same goals and missions in mind. Meant to be a Christian Center, inspiring and uplifting, to encourage our Children and youth with love to not only get moving and be healthier, to attend church, to show respect and consideration for each other, to let them know that “if they can dream it, they can do it.”
