Highly recommend! Lovely facilities and friendly staff. Very nice view of the mountains from the pools. We went on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. Start with the cooler pools and work your way to the hotter pools.
We scheduled a visit to the hotsprings for the day after our travel day. It was 90 degrees out the day we went, but it was still very enjoyable. We spent most of our time in the adult only area. It felt great to soak and relax.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs features 16 unique soaking pools, including a heart shaped pool, an infinity pool, and one with a waterfall. All of the pools contain mineral waters that are meant to relax your muscles and let you leave feeling healthy, happy, and relaxed.
We think this is one of the best hot springs in Colorado!
A tad expensive and crowded but a nice place to rejuvenate after 2 full days on the road. But look out for the mermaids. They tried to seduce Daddy away from the Kitten.
