Eversgerd’s Civil War Fort

This place was pretty awesome! Bob Eversgerd meet us at the gate and gave us a tour of the place. He started building it in 1984. He has cannons and other antique items. There are several cabins there, the oldest of which was built in 1818. There was no charge for the tour but donations are appreciated.
It was a little hard to find on a google map but well worth the effort to see.
