“Authentic Asian Cuisine”
Driven by his dream and enthusiasm, Rick Chou opened the first Boiling Point in Hacienda Heights, California. He started with only three flavors to choose from. In 2005, He added four more to our menu to give customer taste buds a tour of different Asian flavors. In 2006, he opened the second Boiling Point store in Monterey Park, California. Slowly, he expanded Boiling Point’s market, offering delicious hot soups. In 2008, Seattle welcomed Boiling Point's first store outside California. Two years later in 2010, Boiling Point opened its first store outside the United States in Vancouver, Canada. Boiling Point had officially gone international. To meet the growing demand for their soups, Boiling Point opened four more locations in Southern California in 2011. They're in Arcadia, Chino Hills, Gardena, and Irvine. That same year, brand new interior design renovations welcomed customers to better ambiance and a contemporary dining experience. Snow Flake Ice, the first dessert offering, was added to the menu to sweeten the deal. In 2012, Boiling Point opened its flagship store in San Gabriel, California, and three new flavors of hot soup completed the menu. Boiling Point also values employee and customer safety. So, we commissioned a new custom-designed hot pot base to reduce the risk of accidents and match our new look. Now, the Boiling Point family has grown to include over 350 employees. Our goal is to provide the best food and service to our customers. We call this idea, Food With Integrity, and it guides every step of how we run our business.
