Reviews
I am a retired History teacher who frequents museums when RVing with my husband, a retired Marine. We were both excited to see the Navajo Code Talker "Museum". I have tried to teach my children that these Native Americans deserve so much more respect for what they did during WWII then we have given them. I applaud the city of Gallup for the attempt at recognizing this outstanding group of people, but don't confuse an exhibit with a museum. Not sorry I paid my respects but so much more could be done. Thank you for allowing me to speak out.
Not exactly a museum, but a nicely compiled permanent exhibit inside the Visitor’s Center/Chamber of Commerce Building. It’s worth a stop when walking around this friendly little town. Park in the large, free lot, and visit the museum in the Cultural Center at the other end of the lot, also.
A small exhibit about a very important part of our history. Take a few minutes to stop by. The chamber of commerce also has information on all the local attractions.
