“You can travel greater distances - but no place will take you further away. ”
The Ranch at Furnace Creek offers accommodations in a casual, family-like setting—the perfect complement to the classic elegance of the Inn at Furnace Creek. As you wander around the western-themed grounds, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to the 1800′s when this site was established as a working ranch. Yet, you’ll enjoy the amenities of modern civilization, like quiet, recently refurbished rooms, a Golf Pro Shop, a spring-fed swimming pool, tennis courts, a children’s playground and the National Park Service Visitor’s Center – which is just a stone’s throw away.

The National Park Service offers three dry campgrounds surrounding the Furnace Creek Ranch. For information, call (877) 444-6777. A limited number of RV parking sites offering full hook ups is available at the Ranch. The Fiddlers Campground adjacent to the Furnace Creek Golf Course also offers campsites for RVs.
We stayed at the Fiddler's rv park a few hundred yards from the resort. There are no hookups which means folks run their generators all day. They are mostly turned off by 9PM, but still annoying.
Food and supplies are as expensive as any other national park concessionaire. Gas was reasonable considering.
This location is terrific for exploring most of the valley sites.
The Resort RV site is actually south of the gas station. the National park campsite is north that probably explains why you couldn't get WiFi. ours worked great.
Pricing is a little steep in the grocery store and lounge $6.50 for a hiball, $9.00 for a glass of wine. Gas was ridiculous. nice place to base out of to see some of the sites in the area.
Well-priced and the resort has everything, the RV site is a decent walk from the main resort (behind the gas station just down the road) - swimming pool was very welcome. Despite coming with wifi - it didn't work - which was frustrating.
