Considering there was no information on compendium, I went to their website and the picture looked fine enough. What the picture doesn't show is that they are flanked by a very busy road to the front and a railroad track to the back (uhg!). The bathroom and laundry were clean enough to use and I appreciate that. There were some fully mature trees which helped tremendously. The RV park itself is a ok. I'm tired of having to stay where there is so much noise. If RV parks could just be one block off the main road it would make a world of difference. The RV parks I wanted to stay at were booked - oh well.

The fellow we spoke to was super friendly and helpful. He even guided my husband into our spot, which I appreciated particularly as it was 30 degrees that night. We didn’t have much of any noise at all when we stayed. The spots were close together, but it was a great place to spend the night for us.

We quickly nicknamed this "Hasty Retreat". We happened to be traveling during the eclipse in 2017. They were asking $80 a night to dry camp in a field outside of the campground, hastily mowed into a camper parking lot. Theoretically this gave you access to the bath house (10-min walk into the campground), but there were only a couple of showers and little/no chance to get in. Most of the campground seems to be permanent residents with tons of junk piled around their campers and mobile homes. Not sure why anybody would go out of their way to stay here as there's nothing special about the location.
Too expensive for me. Just needed to stay a month but not for $1000. And some dollars I will go else where
