Creative Southern Food That's Good For The Soul
Creative twists on traditional southern cuisine. A lot of tempting choices on menu
Service was terrible. Placed a call in order and waited the 30 minutes they asked for before I even left my hotel. Got there and had to wait for a long time to even be acknowledged. When I finally did speak to someone they said they had just put in my order and it would be at least a 25 minute wait. So 40 minutes after my order was placed I sit down and have to wait for another 30 minutes. Wait 30 minutes and I am not called or acknowledged. Guy I spoke to disappears after glancing my way several times. Go up front and ask if my food is ready. They say it just came out and then try to make me pay for it a second time. Get back to the hotel which was a 6 minute drive and everything they gave me was completely cold with not even a hint of warmth to it. Everything felt like it had sat through a meal and was cold enough and dried out enough to be leftovers. Hard to give a good judgement on the food when I wasn’t hot when I finally got to eat it.
The food really is awesome, but I'll echo the other review saying the service was subpar. Everyone was friendly, but I made a reservation and was seated about fifteen minutes after the set time, despite the fact that I arrived a bit early, even. There were loads of open tables, so idk what was going on. As a successful chain, you'd expect they'd know how to manage this. Also, I ordered some wine that never came as well, which I let slide since I wasn't charged for it and probably didn't need it at that point. But the food... so good.
