Ashley-Drake Historic Inn and Gardens

Absolutely amazing! Through sheer chance my wife and I were able to stay at the Ashley Drake last weekend. I had contacted Kim, the innkeeper earlier this summer asking about availability for an anniversary getaway. At that time the inn was booked. About a month before the requested weekend, Kim contacted me, remembering I had mentioned our anniversary, letting me know that a cancellation had made another room available and asked if we would be interested. Believe me when I say accepting the offer was the best decision I could have made! Our two nights at the inn were so relaxing and welcoming. We arrived as guests and quickly felt that we were staying in town with old friends. The welcoming feeling even came from the other guests staying at the inn, wishing us happy anniversary and talking for hours over breakfast. This is more than a business for Kim and her family, this is their livelihood and passion. Go and enjoy!
