The 15-foot-tall Pioneer Mom, or "Pie Woman," is a masculine-looking lady in a bonnet holding a pie. A child clutching the woman's dress has the face of a 40-year old man and is dragging a decapitated doll across the statue platform. The statues may have formerly stood at the Pot-O-Gold Diner in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, and then moved here after that establishment closed. Granny's opened in 1986.
Just stopped by during a road-trip and was honestly so excited since it was supposed to be so weird. IT ISNT THERE ANYMORE. I repeat DONT GO IT IS GONE. I was so upset, especially since the entire town is so creepy so having to go into it without seeing the pioneer mom was very underwhelming. This was on March 19th. I saw a review 3 months ago that it was still there, so I have no idea what happened to it but yeah it’s gone. Just got up and left. Stalking the town probably.
Everything about it was super creepy and amazing. Loved it.
When your GOD says you have arrived, go down the alley next to the hotel. It's about a block down. It is creepy! TBH, the entire town has this creepy vibe.
Very creepy haha
Stopped in this town to get gas and caught a glimpse of the backside of this statue, had to get a closer look! Very creepy!
It's super creepy but the motel next to it is even creepier not in a good way. It's not too impressive but stop if you'll already pass it.
Definitely creepy...
