“I wanna ROCK!”
This deserves a special stop when you visit the Redwood Highway. Chapman's is a true piece of local history with a stellar collection of gems, minerals, and fossils for sale. Add to that a great museum and fascinating gallery of gem and mineral artwork and you have a place that deserves a chunk of your time when visiting the Redwoods. Prices range from $1000 down to $1 -- so nobody in your family will leave empty handed. Lapidary equipment is also for sale for die-hard rockhounds.
A very cool rock and gem store with everything from fossils to cut stones! Reasonable prices and super friendly staff! They had large chunks of "fools gold" for $2 that would thrill kids, to really nice gemstones. Also had neat "museum area" with interesting geological stuff.

This place is incredible and super affordable but the Roadtrippers directions are inaccurate
It was entertaining enough for a nice little stop but not a lot to look at
