“Country's first organic brewery”
Handcrafted, award-winning ales and lagers and organically raised Black Angus steaks. Eel River Brewing Company brews in the proud tradition of the old world with a touch of West coast innovation. Eel River Brewing Company is unique for its distinction in being the country's first Certified Organic Brewery. Handcrafted microbrews currently on tap include: Extra Pale Ale, California Blonde, Organic Amber, Organic I.P.A., Hazelnut Porter, Ravens Eye Stout, and Triple Exultation. The tap room and grill sports a 30 foot long bar made entirely from recovered historic Redwood and Douglas Fir, and features the largest outdoor beer garden on the North Coast with seating for 100 people. The restaurant serves up generous portions of pub-fare, seafood and our own brewery raised beef.
Not such a great experience for us. Hair in my sandwich! Lost my appetite real quick. A bit slow service.
yummy, yummy food! A great outdoor seating with a horeshoe pit and gras, lots of shade. And of course great beer :)
Being a non- beer drinker traveling with a big beer guy, I was so happy to have found something I liked enough to buy a 6 pack and take back to my room.
Good beer, good food and friendly staff..had something for everyone..nice place to stop after avenues of Giants
Awesome brews, great food. Love the smoker. My son raved about the fish and chips. Highly recommend.
We couldn't have asked for a better restaurant experience after our long drive. Their beer was excellent and the food was outstanding (we got the Thai tofu pasta and the pulled pork sandwich). The patio was very relaxing and they have two friendly cats on the premises! I would definitely seek them out if I am ever in the area again.
Quality patio.
Good beer. Nice in house smoked meat. Fantastic beer garden. First official certified organic brewery in America.
