“the largest family-owned dairy in Northern California”
Humboldt Creamery was founded in 1929 in Humboldt County by a cooperative of dairy farmers. In 2009 Humboldt Creamery became part of Foster Family owned Crystal Creamery, the largest family-owned dairy in Northern California. The Foster Family first ventured into the dairy business in 1941 when Max and Verda founded their creamery in the Central part of California. Still family-owned and operated today, the company remains committed to their founding principles of: Excellence, Honesty, Quality, Service & People and their commitment to produce only the freshest, highest quality, local dairy products. Humboldt Creamery - with their longstanding history of producing delicious, local dairy products - was a natural fit with Crystal Creamery. More than 90 years after its founding the Humboldt Creamery brand remains committed to providing you and your family with the highest quality California dairy products.
