“19th century living history museum”
The Log Cabin Village is a living history museum owned and operated by the City of Fort Worth. The Village is devoted to the preservation of Texas heritage. The purpose of Log Cabin Village is to educate the public through the collection, preservation and interpretation of artifacts, representative structures, and other items of social and cultural significance to Texas’ pioneer era (1840-1890).
Just a heads up there's a $5 admission fee, but it was definitely worth it. As you walk into cabins, there are folks inside that provide amazing istories and are just really nice! The history behind these cabins is truly amazing!
We've bought the family membership here for about four years now and we love it! My Littles (6 and 3) and my Bigs (12 and 10) all love the hands on cabin. They also like to visit the other cabins and learn about life back in pioneer days. We enjoy bringing friends to share one of our favorite places!
Really cool takes you back in time for sure
