We didn't arrive until after hours but we were still able to wonder around. For a historical site, I'm surprised that it doesnt have more excitement around it. The site itself has tons of well preserved locations and some great signage and messaging. It looked as if they might to reenactments ( as we saw some bleachers near the cannons). My 8 yo was fairly interested in exploring and looking onsite the mess hall's, homes , etc. Overall I would recommend this to ANYONE stopping by. Free of charge, donations welcome
