Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 16, 2023Aside from location, which was right there in historic downtown Florence, I can really see no other reason to stay here. It was a pretty dismal park with a surly woman at the front desk. It's just a couple of rings of level gravel with alternating hook-ups, (W/E) some with 30 amp and others with 50 amp.
Their website advertises a "C Row" for dry camping, which is actually more preferable because it is right on the river, however the website fails to mention it is "Closed due to erosion."
The stay was just okay, and certainly convenient, as it was nice to walk to town to eat and stroll the marina docks at night. What turned me off was the prison-style stainless-steel bathroom/shower unisex combos that reeked of mildew that hit my nostrils upon opening the door. Visible signs of mildew all around the shower stall. And push button timed water flow.

Like the other reviewer, the main reason to stay here is for the location blocks away from Florence’s Old Town. Unlike them, we had friendly staff to deal with. Full services include WiFi. Good Sam discount applies here.
Sites are RV Park like, but not too bad this time of year with the level of occupancy. The Veteran’s Day Parade was a fun “small town” experience.
This was the perfect spot for us to stop for a few days and catch up on some business and enjoy the shops and coffee spots. Walks along the small pier at the marina were nice too. Lots of rain, but not surprising for this time of year and central Oregon.

I booked this place because it was cheap and had online reservations. My rate included water and electric only (map said 30 amp but there was both 30 and 50 avail. I had to share a water spigot with the neighbor so my hose went UNDER my rig and through my walk way), and backed up to a no pet area. Site included a picnic table. Site 58 is in the loop and was awful backing our 39' 5th wheel into. (So bad, I wanted to forfeit the money and keep driving). Site was gravel and grass, and amazingly nearly level side to side. I was also able to park my chase car on the site.
The campground has several porta potties available as well as dumpsters for recycling and trash. Bathrooms look okay. I've seen better and worse. There are 4 locked shower/toilet combos cleaned at 830am and 3pm. Showers have one temp, HOT. They spray is weak and you have to push button to dispense water. Probably 3 pushes for 2 minutes. I decided against bathing my small child due to temperature of water.
Laundry has 3 washers and 3 dryers. Cost for washer is $3 and $2 to dry.
Park was very quiet when I snuck out at 11p to go to the casino and I hear noise by 7 or 8am. Other campers are nice, but not familiar with camping ettiquette. We are between 2 friends and they walk thru the 2 foot area between my picnic table and toyhauler door. Weird.
There are 2 to 3 harbor seals that live in the marina and can be viewed swimming and lounging on the dock.

Very friendly camp host at check in, gave us some recommendations to eat/drink in Old Town. We didn’t have a spot at the waterfront, but were very close to the showers/restrooms and office. Great WiFi connection. At walking distance from Old Town Florence. Would definitely camp here again! $38 for full hookup.

Waterfront site with beautiful view when not raining and 60mph blowing winds. That's what happens in October, I guess. Spent 3 days, 2 nights and one day was sunny and warm. Walking distance to Historic downtown Florence which has shops and incredible seafood restaurants. Did not use restrooms but they were open for camper use. $5 fee for the very clean dump station if needed. Fairly level gravel sites but highly recommend to pay the difference and book a waterfront site. Some nice sites in the tree area, look at Google satellite view to get an idea. Will definitely stay here again, you must have the crab chowder on the dock at Novelli's.

We were happy to get a spot here as it was over Labor Day. When you are full-timing, holiday weekends can be the worst sometimes.
There are different locations you can stay, either in the trees, on the water, or just on some gravel. We got the latter.
The weather was very nice for the first 3-4 days then the wind changed and blew the Oregon fire smoke our way. Not good but that doesn't affect my rating.

This is a full hookup campground only. They don’t allow dry camping in the campground and no overnight parking in their lot. Can’t speak to the facilities obviously, but they were packed in like sardines. Beautiful spot on the water though…

Great location, walking distance to Old Town and several good restaurants, walking distance to supermarket. Its a bit packed in the summer, mostly for the fishing and crabbing (bring a crab pot!). The winters are mild, rarely freezes.
Tons of things to do, plan on a few days. Cape Perpetua and Sea Lion caves to the north, the Dunes are within a mile and you can drive on the beach! (Ohv sticker and flag required). Plenty of great hiking in the area, beaches are uncrowded and undeveloped. You can walk for miles.
Make a reservation if you want a waterfront spot. (9 months in advance)

We stopped here for 3 days and paid a bit more for a waterfront site. It was so nice watching the birds and the changes in the tide. Short walk to the quality shops and restaurants of old town Florence. Sites were level and drained well when it rained but our water line was so close to the ground we could not use our filter and had to dig out to even fit the pressure regulator in. Very noisy at times due to internal road repair but peaceful when the workers put the bulldozer away for the day. Able to stream with WiFi.
