People in office very friendly! It is older campground with gravel sites! Looked like a lot of long term campers! Great for one night stay!

Okay, we're in love. Surrounded by ponderosa pines with mountain views behind you and immediate access to trails leading straight into the Coconino National Forest, this place is great.

It's quiet, even though it's right off Highway 89. Its location makes it easy to get into Flagstaff, head up to the Grand Canyon, or hop on I-40. Flagstaff, itself, is fun with plenty of local businesses and breweries around San Francisco and Beaver Streets. There's also an REI if you need to outfit yourself for adventure.

The managers (who are workampers so they might not be here beyond summer '15) are fantastic, providing lots of suggestions of things to do and super accommodating of all requests and questions.

If you head north along 89 a very short distance, you can walk to a very cool ruin that has a nice interpretive trail explaining the site. If you head south, after just a block, the sidwalk becomes a huge bike trail leading past the KOA to the trailhead for Fatman's Loop, an easy-moderate day hike that provides awesome views of East Flagstaff.

Being in town, the cell signal is strong (haven't tried the wifi), and the necessities like groceries are super close, with a Safeway right down the street.

Great place to stay, but there are a few complaints:
* Aphids in the pines are constantly dropping sap, so prepare for your rig and toad to get splattered. It's easy to wash off, though.
* If you have a washer/dryer in your rig, you can't use it here. The septic system can't take the load, so you have to use their laundry facility (when it's open in the spring-fall, or go into town), which means more $.

All in all, we would definitely stay here again.

Greer Pine Shadows is not much to look at. There are RVs that look like they have not been moved for years. Don't let this deter you from camping here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Units must be self contained as there are no bathrooms. Access to many trails (biking and hiking) is through the gate at the back of the campground (this is the best thing about the campground).

We only stayed overnight while passing through Flagstaff, so this review will be brief. The location was great: easy to get to, and close to lots of stores. The entrance off the highway was in poor condition (broken pavement) so we had to drive very slowly going in and out. Interior roads are a little tight but manageable. Most of the sites are very close together, but I think those are mostly for weekly/monthly stays. For our overnight stay we had a very long and wide pull-through with a privacy fence--It was a great site for us. There was free WiFi but we found it too slow to be useful. The RV park backs up to the National Forest, with a trail directly into the forest from the park, great for dog walks. We would stay here again for a few nights (in the large sites).

We were just passing through and needed a spot for the night. It is June and warm so we wanted hook ups. Called Greer's and they were happy to accommodate us for the night.
The price was great (I got a Good Sam discount) and we got a decent site for the night. It did look like there were a bunch of long term folks there- but everyone I ran into was nice.
I used the laundry room and it was clean and cheap.
The WiFi was free but not real strong.
It was safe, clean, and friendly and we would stay here again for a night or two if needed.
It is dirt and not paved parking - so be aware of that. There were lots of trees for shade which was nice. Close to everything in Flagstaff.

Stayed here our first few nights as full-timers, used it as a place to get settled, figure out what we still needed to get rid of/donate and get ready for a drive to Washington State.

Camp host was nice and helpful, they give you a little guide of Flagstaff if you want to explore and are unfamiliar with the town. Seemed as if all their sites were pull-thru and with full hookups, the campground was easy to navigate while pulling our 30 ft TT. The campground WiFi actually surpassed my expectations as we were able to stream a few movies off it easy enough.

The campground had a laundry area that included a common area that had games and such to pass the time, laundry cost $2 to wash, and 75 cents to dry. Appeared they were having a campground potluck for the 4th of July (we left prior, so not sure what it was like). Had a decent amount of full-time folks in the campground, but plenty of people just staying one night as they drove through town as well. They had a forest trail in the back of the campground that led to state park access, but it was closed due to fire restrictions while we were there.

Overall was a great place to be able to park our rig, get full hook-ups (even decent Wi-Fi) for a couple days before we started the next leg of our own journey.

We stayed here just 1 night on our trek north to Colorado from the Phoenix area. The customer service was great from beginning to end. We even stayed a couple hours past official checkout with no problem since nobody was coming into our spot the next day.

The cell phone service was good on both AT&T and Verizon and we were able to do video meetings and work throughout the afternoon.

The park is older and some of the spots are small, but if you walk around there are bigger ones in different parts of the park. The trees can make a few of the spots "interesting" but nothing you can't figure out how to get around. We had a smaller spot, and we still fit our travel trailer, van, and F150 on it with no problem.

The park backs up to the Coconino, which is great -- you can walk right out the back of the park and follow miles and miles of trails. It was super quiet and dark at night, too.

We found this to be a pretty easy in and out for a one night stay and really appreciated the friendly service. If we needed to overnight in Flag again, we'd pick this park again, too.

Greer’s Pine Shadows is an older RV park tucked under the pine trees. A gate out the back puts you right onto National Forest trails, which we loved! The staff were super friendly and helpful. There is a laundry, but it is closed in the winter. No community restrooms or showers and no wood fires. There is a small fenced dog run, however we preferred the National Forest trails for exercise and playtime.

Most sites have FHU-50amp service, each has a picnic table and most are shady. Although the pine trees can also make access tricky and some sites are too narrow for big slideouts. Site quality varies, as does size (both length and width) and levelness. You can reserve on-line and choose a specific site, but given the limitations a call to the office may be the best option. Clientele is a mix of long- and short-term and the park frequently fills up, so I’d recommend reservations if possible.

It’s a short drive to the mall or downtown Flagstaff and all the shopping, restaurants, and amenities you could ask for.

We had 4 bars of Verizon 4G unboosted. The park’s wifi was completely worthless – we could get connected but had no internet access. The staff were apologetic, but agreed there just wasn’t sufficient access to meet demand.

No bathrooms or showers. Sites fit like puzzle pieces. Our front window looked right into the side of another motorhome with two rigs on either side. Cracker Barrel has better pull throughs.

Just needed a spot for one night, headed towards Utah, but able to get a very tight pull-thru with FHU. Park was full with mostly long-term residents. Even trailer sites looked tight next to each other. Park is close to highway. Maneuvering into and out of park with a Class A and toad challenging but manageable. Various levels of slopes requires toad to hook back up down the road at nearby ConocoPhillips station. Strange park rules with a lot of NO’s. No public showers or bathrooms, No use of RV washing machines only their laundry facility, No refunds, etc.
