“Happy Camping in Flagstaff”
Whether you're exploring northern Arizona, escaping the desert heat or traveling Route 66, this beautiful campground is your ideal location. Set at 7,000 feet among tall ponderosa pines at the base of the San Francisco Peaks, the perfect summer temps reach the high 80s during the day and low 50s at night. Relax in Patio RV Sites, tepees, Cabins and (new in 2016!) Deluxe Cabins. Families love the banana-bike rentals, a playground and even hiking trails from the campground to the national forest. Enjoy summertime, daily on-site mountain breakfasts, family movie nights, bounce house and kids activities. The Aquaplex indoor water park is just 2 miles away. Some tours leave directly from KOA to northern Arizona destinations. This is the perfect base camp for exploring Sedona's famed red rocks, Meteor Crater, the Grand Canyon and Walnut Canyon National Monument. Max pull thru: 55 feet.
I stayed here last night with my family and it was fantastic! We arrived at 8 pm..very last minute.. And they were so pleasant! There are over 150 rv camp sites and around 50ish tent campsites. There are 2 bathrooms and they are very clean! I think there was 3 showers in the bathroom we used. There is also a fences in playground, 2 fences in potty areas for dogs(one for dogs 25lbs and under, one for dogs 25lbs and up). When we woke up we went to the little breakfast food wagon. The food was ok but I'm picky so don't listen to me. There are two dump sites and water fill up stations. The campground is full of tall trees and it's located right at the bottom of a mountain
Nice facilities, hiking and guided tours, many pull through sites, strong wifi throughout.
It's a really nice heavily treed campground. Right next to excellent hiking trails. Very friendly office staff. Great location as a gateway to Grand Canyon or up to southern CO.
It’s a KOA. Keep that in mind! Pricey but VERY well maintained. Great location. Hot showers. Laundry. A fun jumping pillow (yes even for adults).
I love this place. Just did an overnight but wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast at the food truck bistro was delicious. Beautiful Flagstaff scenery and nice RV sites. I loved the train ride for the kids and the bounce pad - next time we’ll bring the grandkids and stay longer.
We’re here two weeks. One in a rented RV and one in a cabin. It’s great! I have my son, 2 dogs, and hamster with us. Staff is friendly, everything you might need is here or nearby, which makes things easier to enjoy. 4 stars only because my son would’ve loved the jump pillow and/or kids activities- not open due to a pocket knife last season and well, COVID. Still an awesome stay/place!
Facilities were a little dated and it was crowded around Christmas 2020. I would stay here again, location was great and there was a fun play area for the kids.
Camp sight was very “uneven” couldn’t level, even with my auto level. Have lots of blocks! Would have had to re hook up so just dealt with it. Great surroundings, but it shows it’s age and wear. Gravel sights. Nice neighborhood amenities. Hosts were ok. Pretty close to neighbors. ‘Sufficient” best describes it.
Awesome campsite. More beautiful the farther back you go into the grounds. Lots of amenities and clean site. Very cold when we arrived in spring so dress warm and being extra blankets!
Nice, clean campground. Has full hook ups. Great playground for kids. Has a little breakfast cook shack too.
