“experience an unhurried interlude”
This post and beam historic home dating from the early 1800's first opened as a Bed & Breakfast in 1996. In the spring 2003, Carole and Ken Beckwith purchased the home, furnishing it with Shaker furniture, antiques and artifacts from their travels. The Ashburn House is located on Upper Troy Road, which is just a short stroll from the village common. Guests are welcome to use the two downstairs parlors, each with a Rumford fireplace. One parlor includes a television, VCR and DVD player for guest use, while the second parlor has a more old-fashioned flavor featuring board games and a piano. Complimentary beverages and treats greet guests in these rooms. Whether you are vacationing in New Hampshire, visiting family or friends, or just need a change of venue, we invite you to experience an unhurried interlude with us, in the welcoming atmosphere of the Ashburn House.
