The Amelia Island Museum of History is located at 233 South Third Street, Fernandina Beach, Florida. It houses exhibits focusing on the history of Nassau County, Florida and is situated inside the old Nassau county jail. We are the first spoken history museum in the state of Florida. We continue our story-telling tradition with a variety of tours that cater to many interests and age levels. Walking Tours and Docent-Led Museum Tours are scheduled regularly. Alternate tour times may be arranged for groups of four or more by contacting our Tour Coordinator.
