Falling Sky Brewing

After nearly a decade of providing exceptional service and products for home brewers and winemakers, Valley Vintner & Brewer, 30 E 13th Ave, in downtown Eugene has changed it’s name to Falling Sky Brewing and expanded to bring Eugene a new Brew House, featuring handcrafted brews and locally sourced eats.Jason Carriere purchased a struggling Valley Vintner & Brewer in 2002, and has since led a team of dedicated and knowledgeable shop staff who keep clients (old and new) coming into the shop for all their homebrew needs. In 2005 Scott Sieber, joined Jason in the shop, bringing with him extensive experience of working in breweries.  Then, in 2007, Michael Zarkesh joined and has helped develop beer recipes and make community connections.  But making the shop successful was not enough, they wanted to make more beer, they needed to open a brew house!Meanwhile, Rob Cohen had recently sold his two successful restaurants & café in Ithaca, NY and was looking for an exciting opportunity in Eugene.  He met Jason, Michael & Scott, drank some beer, drank more beer, and eventually they all decided that their combined experience was the perfect mix for opening a new Brew House.  When a beautiful industrial space with a future beer garden behind the shop became available, the group knew the opportunity was now.Falling Sky Brewing is a casual place where friends & neighbors can enjoy hand crafted beers & sodas, barrel to tap wines, and delicious food.  Get in here and check us out!  We look forward to seeing you soon.
