“an ideal location to start your exploration”
The Eugene Whiteaker International Hostels are located in the historic Whiteaker district of Eugene, OR and just a few blocks from some of the best food and live music in the area. If this is your first visit to Eugene, our accommodations are an ideal location to start your exploration. Built in 1930, upgraded in the mid-60′s and newly remodeled in the spring of 2006, the S.S. Whiteaker is the largest of the two hostels. There are many great sights to see and things to do within the area and around the town. Within walking distance is the Willamette River which offers a biking and pedestrian path. You can also visit the Owens Rose Garden along the way. The Skinner’s Butte Park has nice hiking and a great view of Eugene. Enjoy the arts and crafts at the Saturday Market, listen to live music, and try some tasty food from the various vendors.
