“yummy food options”
The Yellow Church Cafe was built in 1923 as a church for the German Lutherans. Since then, the building has served many purposes and is now a restaurant. We believe that food, friends and fellowship go hand in hand. We strive for excellence.
Yellow Church Cafe is a wonderful eatery with a fantastic menu. The flavors meld together so well, the portions are enormous, the prices are fair, and service is friendly, prompt and welcoming. Diners are at ease while eating upscale quality food in a simple but quaint setting of an old chapel. While we were there we learned that the owner has developed the recipes and the menu himself without going to chef school, all on sheer talent! Do yourself a favor and stop in for a wonderful meal made by good people, served up with genuine enthusiasm.
The Yellow Church Cafe, Ellensburg, Washington. It was great place to stop and get dinner during our road trip. I can not comment on the rest of the menu but their mac and cheese with bacon comes in a hot cast iron skillet and is unbelievable, especially alongside a pint of the local IPA. The yellow church is also next door to the Dick and Jane's Art spot which makes for a great tacky attraction lunch break!
