Jack and Peggy Nunn are the original founders of Great American Land & Cattle Co. The present Great American is actually six separate companies. Each of the four core restaurants is an individually owned company. The location in Vinton (Anthony) was purchased by a group from Mexico in 2004 and since that time they have opened a location on George Dieter on the far east side of El Paso. The Seasoning Division is a separate company owned by Jack, from which all of the restaurants buy the seasonings and BBQ sauce. They are now produced for us locally by Claude's Sauces
