My father used to play in the yard as a child growing up with Ford's grandaugter. Many tales and memories. He the best tour guide to have. The kids used to put soap in the big fountain and it would flood the street outside the house's. Darn kids... πŸ˜‰

Visiting Edison and Ford Estates was more than educating. We went to the Museum, learned about Edison's and Ford's achievements. All this was very well explained and the guide was very helpful. We truly couldn't stop listening to what these people did in the past.

The gardens had magnificent flowers, so beautiful one can say they cannot be real!

It was sooo worth the visit! We were all stunned by what we saw and heard!

Don't miss it out!

What a wonderfully preserved piece of history. Visit and look at the home and cars by Henry Ford and the inventions and home of Thomas Edison. Admission can be a bit expensive but the grounds are beautiful.

Rated among the top museums in the state, the Edison & Ford Winter Estates will take you back to a different era of America, offering acres of botanical gardens, a museum, gift shops, a laboratory, and even the homes of Ford and Edison, which are regularly open for tours.

It's a great museum and filled with fun and interesting facts. We think a visit here is one of the best things you can do in Fort Myers.
