“nestled on the Snake River plateau”
Our 100+ site campground for RVers, tenters, and cabin campers is located on the Snake River plateau in south central Idaho, just several hundred yards from the 300-foot canyon through which the Snake River flows. Despite the high desert setting, the mild four-season climate allows all sites to have grass and trees in a park-like setting surrounded by irrigated farmland. Over 300 sunny days per year plus a central location in the Northwest transportation corridors make us a great place to stay for a night, a week, or a month!

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 06, 2021Campground was right off the freeway, which was very convenient after a long drive; did a late check-in and the process was very easy with clear directions on how to get to our lot. As we're pulling in, there were smaller cabins flanking the rv area (which are in extremely close proximity to each other) with a bunch of younger/college-aged kids making a lot of noise, obviously inebriated. By the looks of things, I genuinely felt frightened and my husband asked me if I wanted to go to a nearby hotel instead. As experienced RVers, I said no, since it's only for the night.
Pulled into our lot, hooked up and had the most awful little bugs/mosquitos I've ever experienced. I was spraying deet like crazy and swatting then away until I noticed there was blood after squashing them. I have my fingers crossed that we don't contract anything or get sick...it's was THAT bad.
On a positive note, the camp was quiet where we were in the middle (away from those little party cabins) and the MAIN bathroom by the front was clean and updated. The bathroom in the back of the camp (next to the cabins) are small, dirty and a bit scary.
Overall, I would NEVER stay here again and clueless as to how they got rated 4 stars..? I booked our stay here based on others reviews and feel duped. We've had our share of run-down dumpy places (which this place is not), but it's a first where I didn't feel completely safe if it weren't for my very athletic husband sleeping next to me. Do yourself a favor and skip this one..!
Clean, quiet campground but the amenities weren't available (opened late and closed early) and they were the whole reason we chose this campground. Our kids were still able to swim for a small amount of time but we were disappointed that this campground didn't seem accommodating to pass-thru campers. Overall a good night. Just not sure we would have stopped had we known everything would be closed by 8 (including the store and game room).
Parked pur fifth wheel enjoyed the green grassy view and sunset one of the quieter places we've syayed. Not there long enough to tell about amenities.
Beautiful facility, pool was a great bonus. Super friendly staff. My kids loved it here.
Nice little oasis. We arrived late so our kids missed out on the heated water slide. The cabin was nice and clean as we're the toilets and showers. The cheeseburgers were lots better than you would find at any chain. Although it can get dusty, they water their roads to keep the dust down. Overall it was a great site for the kids.
At lunch and again at another rest stop we saw two other motor homes stopping as well. When we pulled in at Andersons...there they were. None of us traveling together. We all agreed that this campground is a gem. Clean, grassy sites, close-but not too close to the highway. friendly managers...and of course the price is right. Great exercise area for pets and all the required amenities..plus! Heading to see twin falls tomorrow...so glad we pulled in.

I was traveling and the receptionist was awesome when I called. She even told me about road work and what to look for. She was quick and prompt in getting me checked in and the campground was very clean. Bathrooms were clean. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

Older resort that is in decent shape. Biggest complaint was being so close to I-84. Big rigs and engine breaks all day and worse at night if your site is close to the front of the property. Small store and gas station along the road.

This is a pretty and quiet park but it is not well taken care of. The laundry, bathrooms, and pools were all filthy. The workers were rude and seemed irritated at checkin and asking for change for the laundry. I would not stay here again.
