Ocean Point Inn is a traditional oceanfront property located on the rockbound mid coast of Maine in the Boothbay Harbor Region. This Maine mid-coast Oceanfront Inn is over 110 years old, and Ocean Point has been called a "paradise on the coast of Maine," enjoyed by Inn guests and summer residents. The majority of our guest rooms and cottages enjoy fabulous ocean views including stunning vistas of the pier, islands, lighthouses, and boats that dot this mid-coast Maine location in the Boothbay Harbor Region. Many of our other accommodations feature decks for relaxing on and enjoying the Maine Coast. Ocean Point Inn enjoys a rare western exposure, providing guests with one of best places on the East Coast to view sunsets. Whether you select a room in the Oceanfront Inn or Lodge, our Motel or one of our Cottages, you are just steps to the ocean (rooms are just 75 to 300 feet from the shoreline). All of our guest accommodations are non-smoking and have private bath, mini-fridge, phone, flat screen cable TV, and AC/heat. If you prefer the warmth of a pool or hot tub to a refreshing ocean swim from Card Cove Pier, you'll enjoy our 25' x 50' outdoor heated pool (seasonal) and hot tub. We have a wonderful oceanfront restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily in season. Our menu features local seafood, lobster, entrees for land lovers, and appetizers. The large windows frame a westerly panorama of blue sky, green firs on neighboring peninsulas, and islands. Most evenings you will enjoy a beautiful sunset.  Our affordable Bistro Menu is now offered nightly. A walk along Shore Road is simply breathtaking and a great way to take in this special part of mid-coast Maine. The Ocean Point peninsula is filled with unobstructed ocean views, lighthouses, fishermen and lobstermen at work, pleasure boats and sailing craft out on the water. Many guests also enjoy just watching the waterfront from an Adirondack chair on the seawall infront of the Inn adjacent to the Pier. From the pier guests often try their luck at salt-water fishing seeking out flounder, pollack, or mackerel. Sometimes you may even see a seal. Our location in the Boothbay Harbor Region on Maine's mid-coast is ideal. Not only can you take in all the beauty of Ocean Point, East Boothbay, and Boothbay Harbor, you can also easily access much of the Maine coast from here. In nearby Boothbay Harbor (6.5-miles) you can enjoy many waterborne activities including sightseeing excursions to see whales, seals, lobstermen hauling traps, and the rugged Maine coastline. For the land lover there are gift shops, an 18-hole golf course, an aquarium, and one of the finest botanical gardens in New England.
