The campground is situated along the South Fork of the Little Colorado River in a riparian area with ponderosa pine. The site was once a fish hatchery and Civilian Conservation Corps camp but was converted into a campground around 1940. Directions: Directions from South Fork: From town center, go to the end of Apache County Road 4124, south of State Highway 260.

Maybe there's tent camp in here, but I couldn't find any. RVs only and they close fairly early. I drove around and couldn't find anyone then had to drive three miles back to the main road.
