“steamy fun!”
Scientists aren't really sure what heats the water at this hot spring, but it's been a tourist destination for decades. James Pinkerton discovered it in the 1800s and developed it into a health resort for the healing and restorative waters. The resort burned down, and the remains were a speakeasy in the 1920s. Today the land is a part of the Colorado Timberline Academy. People still stop by to visit these hot springs!
