“Where the city meets the lake”
Where the city meets the lake. Enjoy the charm of a small town in a big city. Quaint shops, art galleries, cafes, a variety of restaurants, amazing hotels, business services, and so much more. Canal Park is largely a conversion of an old warehouse district into restaurants, shops (especially those dealing in antiques and other novelties), cafés, and hotels. There is something for everyone. Walk the lakewalk, bike up the shore, go climbing at Vertical Endeavors, hit the batting cages at Adventure Zone, see how many sculptures you can find, maybe even run Grandma's Marathon!
The quintessential Minnesota park. I love going here. Watching cargo ships go through the canal or just watching the waves crash on the shore. You can't go wrong with a trip to Canal park. Watching the Lift Bridge rise up to let in a boat is amazing.
Really nice, small town vibe. Lots of space to walk or seat. May 15th, 2018 they start charging for parking per sign.
