“beautiful scenic waterfall”
This park includes a unique gorge habitat that only occurs along the western shore of the Scioto River. This ecosystem is home to a beautiful 35-foot waterfall and also rare and endangered plants.
Don't miss this beautiful waterfall and walkway! A must stop. Will only take about 20 mins. 50 plus steps so plan to have ice cream afterwards. Fyi: no bathrooms or water fountains.
GPS took us on a round about way, but very pretty. Not handicap accessible but there is an overlook at top ground level. Nice decked walkway.
Nice fall! I spotted this when visiting a friend in Ohio, had no idea it would be so breath taking http://ihitthebutton.com/hayden-run-falls-columbus-ohio/
Cute little hidden gem tucked away in the city. Worth a stop if you’re passing through.
This was a quick trip. The parking lot is small we went during the week in three middle of three day sto there were only 2 other cats but that wad nayarit at 50%capacity. It outs very close to the road but when you take these stairs down you don't notice the street noise. Not for someone that can't easily climb stairs because of the initial stairs. It took its marine 5 minutes from our car to the falls. Nice on a roadtrip to stretch legs anfd not ro far od the path. We stopped at target to resupply not far from the falls.
Very pretty area! Just went in October but there was no water falling. Still pretty
We really enjoyed our little excursion to the falls. The short walk was very calming. Great little 20 minute pit stop. It was only 20 degrees and the falls had quite a bit of ice which made it even more beautiful.
Parking lot was tiny and completely full so we had to skip this one.
The path wasn’t very long but this stop is well worth it especially in autumn! Lots of steps though so not accessible for the differently abled.
Very much worth the effort to see it. It takes only a few minutes to fully take it in. There are multiple views that can be experienced within minutes- at the water level and above. Very family friendly and worth seeing. The picture above showing a person near the falls must have been taken a long time ago, because now there is a board walk and, clearly, visitors are supposed to stay on it. The picture does not at all do it justice; although we visited in April and perhaps the flow rate is much higher in the Spring. It was quite dramatic. Where the board walk ended close to the falls, the mist reaches you. My thirteen year old daughter and I really enjoyed the visit.
