Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on May 06, 2023Walmar Manor is a Passport America site, so I tried to call ahead to see if sites were available. The phone always went to an answering machine. When I was in the area I swung by to see if I could stay for a night.
The campground is attached to a manufactured home park, in it's back right corner. The sites are very tight - I'm not sure how people were managing to get their slides out - and the majority looked to be permanent or semi-permanent residents.
It was relatively clean, but I think this is a contractors campground, perhaps for the nearby military base. There wasn't an office or any staff that I could see. We didn't stay.

The campground has mostly permanent campers. We were only passing through and just needed one night and then get back on the road again. When coming into the park we almost changed our mind about staying, but it's actually not bad once you get in. We had a nice spacious site with good satellite service and good wifi. The park is kept nice and clean, but a little tight getting in and out.
There is no office, you have to go to #9 and the lady comes out and takes your payment. She was very nice though and walked with me to pick out a site.

We were traveling south in November and needed a place to overnight (preferably Passport America). Walmar Manor fitted the bill. You have to drive through a neighbourhood of park models/manufactured homes to the campground. A sign on what appears to be the office directs you to a campsite where the host registers you and where you pay. There were a lot of seasonal residents in the campground and the sites appeared on the small side lacking much room for accessory vehicles. When we mentioned we didn't want to unhitch, the host happily directed us to a couple of long back-in sites that were more than suitable with respect to length, access and being level. I believe the site had full services but since we were there only overnight, we only hooked up electricity.
The campground host was very friendly. The restrooms were clean and nicely heated. We were given a key to the restrooms which we returned first thing in the morning prior to departing. This campground would never be a destination for us but was quite suitable for an overnight stay.
The rate quoted above was Passport America.

Nice simple place. The camp host communicated via email in a timely fashion. Most there have been living there for a long time. My site was a level gravel pad with some grass and a very sturdy picnic table. There is also a fire ring. There is a medium sized swimming pool. I chose this campground to save some money as I was visiting Gettysburg. The sites are a little snug. You drive through a residential neighborhood before pulling into the park. Highway 15 is very close and you can hear it with no problem.

We stayed here for a week on our way across the country. It was very quiet, which worked well for us working. The laundry takes quarters, $2.00 per machine. There are 3 washer and 3 dryers, they work well and there is a coin machine right in the room, though it only takes 1, 5, 10s.
They have a pool but it was not open for the season yet the first week of May. It was still pretty cold there. The view was nice from 10B and the site was level. The price was fair. They have 2 showers, a men’s and a women’s bathroom that you need a key from the office to use.
I let the office know that we almost didn’t stay because they website says to email, the email says to call, and the voicemail says to text for the campground. They did not know about the email not working or that the phone number listed on Google maps was for the mobile home park. They started working in fixing it while I was still standing there! They really do want to make this place as great as they can.
We will stay again if we are in the area.

Good Overnighter: We are first time RVers and this was our first stop on our way to Florida. We arrived at night after crossing the mountains. Bonnie the camp host was really helpful to check us in and assisted us to back our 5th Wheel into the roomy site. We are dry camping so we made use of the bathroom facilities which were clean and warm.
