“Home of the Detroit Tigers”

A ferris wheel. A mammoth water feature in center field that can be choreographed to any music. A decade-by-decade pedestrian museum enveloping the main concourse. But wait, there is also a field with a game being played as well. Comerica Park is one of the many highlights of Downtown Detroit.

Comerica Park is an open-air ballpark located in downtown Detroit, Michigan. It serves as the home of the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball's American League, replacing historic Tiger Stadium in 2000.

The park is named after Comerica Bank, which was based in Detroit at the time the park opened. Comerica's headquarters have since been moved to Dallas, though the bank still retains a large presence in Detroit. The stadium's seating capacity is 41,255.

One of the cool things about this park is that it appears to be built into the ground. You literally just walk in and sit down. It's hugeeeee. Tons of seating, great hot dogs, and the Tigers are pretty fun to watch.

A huge park... they eventually moved the fences in, but this is still a pitcher's park every day of the week. Great place to catch a game and the area around the stadium has a few good spots to eat/see
